HOW TO MAKE A MUG BROWNIE

If you enjoy chocolate, you’ll love this indulgent and rich brownie mug cake - it’s the ideal evening treat when you’re relaxing at home in your favourite pyjama set. Here’s our guide on how to make the perfect mug brownie.

INGREDIENTS AND UTENSILS REQUIRED

  • 2 medium-sized mugs
  • A fork
  • A handful of chocolate chips
  • 2 ½ tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 4 ½ tablespoons of plain flour
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar

METHOD:

1. Add the main ingredients (cocoa powder, plain flour, milk, melted butter, and sugar) into your first mug. This will be your mixing mug, so don’t worry about any mess. Whisk with a fork until the mixture is smooth.

2. Sprinkle the chocolate chips in the mixture, stirring with a fork to evenly distribute them.

3. Pour this into your second mug. If you spill any mixture down the sides of the mug, wipe it off now.

4. Place your mug brownie in the microwave. Cook for 1 minute 20 seconds on 800W, then in 10-second increments if necessary until the centre is soft and gooey.
